Personal Development Coach
Kristin Asadourian, founder of KA Coaching, works alongside her clients helping them to live true to themselves and find their authentic self. As a social worker, speaker and personal development coach, she works with young people and adults to navigate through the noise and discover their true purpose in this world. Her form of confidence coaching is designed to inspire her clients to keep striving to uncover their greatness.
With a career that began in the mist of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, CA, Kristin built Seeroon Productions, a documentary film production company that produced, “ Beginning Where the Soviet Ends: A Study of Social Work in Armenia.” She also worked as a producer for network television for several years. Struck by the stress within the entertainment community, Kristin started coaching writers, producers, directors and actors in various aspects of their lives from career transition, career advancement to living more balanced and healthy lives.
Kristin’s coaching practice diversified and eventually led her to take a position with the
Los Angeles City Council as a Field Deputy for Councilmember Wendy Greuel. While serving the people of the East San Fernando Valley she witnessed the need for arts education in public schools and co-founded Artists for Change, a not for profit organization established to bring art and music education to elementary school students. Kristin’s coaching practice is strongly influenced by her work in the public sector and her desire to work with people to become strong leaders and maintain value-based leadership.
Kristin earned her bachelor's degree in sociology and multicultural relations from the University of Connecticut and master's degree in social work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. She received her co-active life coaching credential from the Coaches Training Institute and is an active member of the International Coach Federation.
Based in the Boston area, Kristin is a frequent speaker on topics such as confidence, defining and understanding you and creating a more balanced and fulfilled life.
Kristin also guides workshops for grade school students that heighten social emotional learning by uncovering the leader and change maker within using her curriculum entitled BECOME (Bold, Energized, Compassionate, Open-hearted, Mindful, Education).
An avid contributor to her community, Kristin is a board member of Project SAVE Armenian Photographic Archives and New Paths as well an active volunteer with Armenia Tree Project and the Armenian Heritage Park. She loves spending time with her children at home cooking, in their schools leading art projects and reading and in nature taking hikes, running, biking and climbing.
